Mexican students arrive in the U.S. for first place in Robotics World Championship

#SecretaríaDeEducaciónPública.- Mexican students from 12 public and private institutions of elementary, middle and higher education in the country, participate from May 2 to May 10 in the VEX 2022 Robotics World Championship, which takes place in Dallas, Texas.

The objective of the championship is to promote the development of teamwork, collaboration, critical thinking and project management at a global level.

Among the institutions participating are the Technological University of Chetumal, Quintana Roo; CECyTE 22, Ricardo Flores Magón of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas and the secondary school of Colegio ST. John’s High School in Cancun.

The young Mexicans will use their creative, technological and strategic skills to pit their robots against the best teams in the world in three categories, VEX IQ, VRC and VEX U, in which they will seek to place among the top teams in the competition.
